International Mobility for Apprentices 

Develop your skills beyond borders 

An apprenticeship is a genuine professional experience. It can also be enriched through an international mobility experience, offering the opportunity to discover new professional practices, work in an intercultural environment, and develop new skills while continuing your training. 

Thanks to the Erasmus+ program and Ocellia’s international partnerships, apprentices can complete a mobility period abroad in various formats, aligned with their training program and employer. 

This experience is a valuable opportunity for both personal and professional development, enhancing employability while broadening international perspectives.

A mobility experience tailored to your pathway 

Depending on your program, your host employer and your professional goals, several types of international mobility are available. 

Your mobility may include: 

• A study period at one of Ocellia’s partner institutions 

• A work placement or professional training period abroad 

• A European project or a group mobility organized through the Erasmus+ program 

Each mobility project is designed in collaboration with your Apprenticeship Training Centre (CFA), your employer and Ocellia’s International Office to ensure it is fully aligned with your apprenticeship pathway.

The International Office supports apprentices throughout every stage of their mobility project: 

• Defining your mobility project 

• Identifying the most suitable destination 

• Administrative preparation 

• Preparing your Erasmus+ application 

• Identifying available funding opportunities 

• Support before, during and after your mobility experience 

Our goal is to ensure that every apprentice benefits from a safe, rewarding and fully recognized international experience as part of their training. 

Erasmus+ for Apprentices 

Ocellia apprentices may benefit from the Erasmus+ program, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria and program conditions. 

The program enables apprentices to undertake an international mobility period while benefiting from academic support and, where applicable, financial assistance to help fund their stay abroad. 

The International Office will provide guidance on eligibility requirements, application procedures and available funding opportunities. 

Apprentices benefit from dedicated support provided by the Apprenticeship Mobility Coordinator. Additional funding opportunities may also be available to support their international mobility project.
